The History of the Show
Back in April/May 2006 there was a sudden phenomenom in podcasting, largely sparked by Adam Curry. The podcasting community began to talk about a virtual world called Second Life where you can create anything or be anything and do everything you could possibly imagine.
During this time two avatars met and formed The Podmafia. Stuart Warf and Gomem Desoto. Later on that year in August, The Podmafia Podcast was formed. The episode yielded 5 episodes in a short run that led to certain podfade.
In Feburary 2007 it reignited with 3 episodes, ending with a guest called Yxes Delacroix who hosted a show called The Goddess and Banana.
However when The Goddess and Banana podcast faded, Yxes had no place to voice her Second Life opinions. In July, Stuart Warf began thinking of again doing Podmafia Podcast and thought about asking Yxes to join the show as the female co-host.
The rest as they say, is history…
Over a year since Yxes’ introduction into the show, and Podmafia Podcast is going strong and gathering an ever increasing audience.
