Just wanted to comment on your mention of problems using Pamela to record off of Skype. I have a little app called Total Recorder which you can download from High Criteria http://highcriteria.com/ which hooks into your sound card and allows you to basically record anything that you hear on your computer. And it will record Skype sessions.
It’s got a few other nice features too.
And best of all the standard edition is only $17.95 usd (there is a professional edition and developers edition as well)
